The next presentation for the Howard County Sierra Club’s Think of the Planet Series will feature a discussion of data centers.
The rush to approve and build data centers is currently a chaotic, poorly planned process. Concern is growing over high energy use which is leading to the fast tracking of fossil fuel sourced electric generation. Additionally, there is concern over water use as well as air and noise pollution. Find out more about this rapidly expanding industry and why we need guardrails and regulations to manage its growth and implementation.
Speaker Dave Arndt is a Climate, Environmental, and Social Justice advocate driving legislation at a local, state, and federal level to build a better world for everyone.

This event will be offered in person at the Miller Branch and also as a live webinar.
