Time:
6:00pm — 7:00pm
Venue:
Online
Join Solar United Neighbors (SUN) to learn about an ongoing working group at the Public Service Commission (PSC) on the next phase of Maryland’s Net Energy Metering (NEM) program. Maryland’s RELIEF act recently mandated the PSC to develop and implement a new NEM tariff by July 1, 2027. Since then, SUN, solar industry groups, and other partners and stakeholders have participated in a PSC-run Working Group to determine the framework, principles, design, and ultimate form of the new NEM program.
The outcome will have serious implications on the accessibility and financial viability of rooftop and community solar in Maryland. The PSC will hold public hearings in November. At the webinar, we’ll unpack the status of the framework thus far and what’s at stake.
