Join Patapsco Heritage Greenway on Friday, January 30, at 10am to learn about water quality in the Patapsco Watershed, winter road salt, salting practices, and how to measure chloride in waterways using a simple test kit!
Make sure to dress for brief outdoor demonstrations as well. You will leave with vital knowledge about why salt is important, how it can be problematic, and how to measure and document it. Participants will also receive Salt Watch chloride kits to take home for use on a favorite stream!
