Howard EcoWorks Watershed Makeover

Howard EcoWorks offers volunteer opportunities to help clean up & beautify areas around Howard County during its annual Watershed Makeover.
Community members will have the opportunity to provide service to our local environment & neighborhoods through beautification and improvement efforts. Primary goals will be to:
- Remove trash and debris
- Remove invasive plant species
- Conduct tree maintenance
These activities are recommended for ages 8 and up. Howard EcoWorks will provide:
- Tools and tool training
- Safety vests
- And work gloves (limited)
Howard EcoWorks recommends that volunteers bring:
- Appropriate clothing for the weather and the outdoors.
- Additional working gloves, or child size gloves for young children.
- Closed-toed shoes appropriate for the outdoors, ideally boots, some areas may be wet and muddy.
- Your own water and bottle. (We will also have water for refilling).
