Visit the Howard County Conservancy’s Fiddlers and Fireflies event for an evening of folk music and storytelling as fireflies rise in the dusk.
Bill Wellington and his daughter, Sophie, perform traditional folk music on fiddle, banjo and guitar, with fun and funny stories and likely a little dancing. Pack a picnic dinner, bring your favorite blanket or lawn chairs, and settle in for a magical summer event. Kids and families also can also flutter over to the picnic table area for a fun firefly-themed craft activity and insect habitat.
$15 per car. Space limited. Advanced registration recommended. In the case of inclement weather, registrants will be notified.
