Clean Miles Club

To supercharge Howard County’s adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and support potential EV-converts, the Office of Community Sustainability has formed a “Clean Miles Club” networking group of current and prospective EV owners. The program provides a forum to share practical tips about EV driving and ownership, build community, and keep updated on local EV events and opportunities.

How to Join

The Clean Miles Club is open to Howard County drivers of all vehicle types. To sign up for the Clean Miles Club, please complete this short survey. Signing up for the Clean Miles Club ensures you will receive emails when an event is coming up.

Ask an EV Driver

The Clean Miles Club hosts a reoccurring “Ask an EV Driver” webinar series and an occasional in-person event. Check the Live Green Howard events page for the next installment and for a link to register.

Past webinars have focused on topics such as EV driving without access to an EV charger at home, vehicle maintenance, long-distance trips in an EV, leasing vs. purchasing, and using your vehicle’s battery as a backup power option for your home (view a recording of this webinar). All webinars are open to anyone with questions about electric vehicle ownership.
