Helping your community stay green is as easy as recycling, using less electricity and conserving water. But if you are interested in learning more or helping us go further, we invite you join the email list for LiveGreenHoward to get the latest on environmental events, announcements, and programs in the County. We promise not to flood your inbox or share your email!

Another resource for finding environmental, outdoor and other volunteer opportunities with Howard County government is hocovolunteer.org. LiveGreenHoward uses this site to list available volunteer opportunities such as stream cleanups, tree planting and the Roving Radish program.

Beyond County government, the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County website is another great resource.

There are many Local Environmental Groups serving Howard County. Click HERE to learn more about the great work these groups are doing and to find out about their activities, events, and volunteer opportunities. Whatever your particular environmental interest, there is something for everyone.
