Thurs­day, Feb­ru­ary 22nd and Fri­day, Feb­ru­ary 23rd from 3:30 to 6:45 PM each evening (Must reg­is­ter by Sat­ur­day, Feb­ru­ary 17).  Project WILD pro­vides K-12 edu­ca­tors with wildlife-based con­ser­va­tion lessons that encour­age stu­dents to fos­ter respon­si­ble actions toward wildlife and related nat­ural resources. The cur­ricu­lum is only pro­vided at train­ing facil­i­tated by cer­ti­fied instruc­tors. All par­tic­i­pants must attend both days of this work­shop to receive the Project WILD cur­ricu­lum guide. Howard County’s Water­shed Improve­ment Net­work (WIN) meets twice a year to learn about local water­shed pro­tec­tion and share infor­ma­tion on upcom­ing water­shed projects.  The next meet­ing is Fri­day, March 16, 1–3 at Miller Library.
